Powertweak is designed to configure your system in the best way. A processor, the core of the system, or a chipset (a set of components that manage the data flows between the different parts of the system) can be configured. This requires a direct access to the hardware. Powertweak detects the system components present in your system and modifies the configuration registers according to the manufacturers documents. This ensures a safe configuration, since your hardware still works in the manufacturer's specifications, contrary to other techniques such as overclocking.
